President Danilo Medina visited the Juma Bejucal neighborhood in Bonao, Monsenor Nouel province yesterday, Monday, 15 June 2015, to inaugurate the Ramon Rosario Perez primary school with 15 classrooms, which will be providing the extended school day to 490 pupils.
The school also has a library, kitchen, dining room and an IT laboratory.
A total of 28 schools and high schools in Bonao are now operating on the extended school day with 9,230 students in attendance.
Administrative Minister of the Presidency Jose Ramon Peralta and the ministers of Public Works and Education were also present at the event.
