The former governor of Santiago, 82-year old Rosa Fadul was injured when two youths on board a motorcycle ripped her chain and sped off. She was sitting ont eh verandah of her residence on calle Independencia. Fadul is the sister of the Minister of Interior and Police Jose Ramon Fadul. She was taken to the Clinica Corominas for first aid care.
Hoy reports the assailants were estimated to be around 19 years old.
