First Lady, Candida Montilla de Medina, has recognized five pediatricians for their support of Dominican children at a ceremony attended by Public Health Minister Altagracia Guzman Marcelino. During the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace, Jose Brea del Castillo received the award of “Most Distinguished Pediatrician 2015”. Solange Soto Encarnacion was recognized for social work; Marcos Espinal, for research; Pedro Marte and Altagracia Esperanza Esquea, for their contributions in education.
