Yesterday, 28 July 2015, President Danilo Medina opened the Carmen Luisa de Los Santos High School in the El Cafe area of Herrera in Santo Domingo West. It is the first high school in the area and will be integrated into the Ministry of Education’s extended school day initiative. The high school has 34 classrooms for 1,015 students.
In addition it has two science laboratories, an IT lab, two libraries, multi use lounge, nurses’ station, kitchen and dining room and an administration area.
