The general manager of the Compania de Electricidad San Pedro de Macoris (CESPM) was voted to chair the Dominican Association of Electricity Industry (ADIE) during an assembly held on Tuesday, 25 August 2015. Herrera is taking over at a time when the government is finalizing the Electricity Pact to ensure stable and financially sustainable power system with private and public sectors.
