The Embassy of the United Kingdom is promoting its one-year duration Chevening scholarships for Dominican students for study at UK universities. Applications can be made online until 3 November 2015. The scholarships are for postgraduate students with demonstrable potential to become future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers across a wide range of fields, including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion and academia. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom and partner organizations fund the educational grants. There are two types of award — Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships. The recipients are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
