Polls within normal error margins

The three independent polling companies monitoring the Dominican Presidential election all produced final results that were within normal error margins for a national election. The JCE?s Bulletin No. 9 shows the PLD winning with 56.69% of the vote, followed by Hipolito Mejia with 33.91% and Eduardo Estrella with 8.82%. Gallup had posited 53.6% PLD, 29.9% PRD, and 10.3% PRSC. Penn Schoen had forecast 59% PLD, 27% PRD and 11% PRSC. Hamilton?s latest poll numbers were 54% PLD, 27% PRD and 14% PRSC.
