Six Dominicans on ALCS teams

There are six Dominicans on the rosters of the two teams playing the finals of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) at the Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City at 7 pm, Friday 23 October 2015.

Dominican Yordano Ventura is the opening pitcher for the Kansas City Royals in the Friday game six against Toronto ace David Price. Other Royals Dominican players are pitchers Johnny Cueto, Edison Volquez and Kelvin Herrera. If the Kansas City Royals win tonight, they win the ALCS. If they lose, the series goes to the deciding game seven.

For the Toronto Blue Jays, Dominican fans will be following the bats of Dominicans Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion, who were key players driving the Toronto Blue Jays to play for the championship.
