Maickel Melamed is booked for an inspirational talk at 7:30pm on Thursday, 3 December at the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame auditorium, Centro Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte in Santo Domingo. Tickets, priced at RD$850, are for sale at Supermercado Nacional and Sportline America.
Melamed is a Venezuelan long-distance runner, who despite being physically disabled from low muscle tone has completed several marathons, including New York City, Boston, Chicago and Berlin. He has also climbed Venezuela’s highest mountain and is a graduate in economics from a Venezuelan university.
