Caribbean baseball fans in the DR

Tourists from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela and even some from Cuba are in Santo Domingo for the 2016 Caribbean Series taking place at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Ball Park.

The games began on Monday, 1 February and will continue through 7 February.

The games schedule is:

Monday, 1 February:

3pm. Puerto Rico vs. Venezuela

8pm. Mexico vs. Dominican Republic

Tuesday, 2 February:

3:30pm. Cuba vs. Mexico

7:50pm. Dominican Republic vs. Venezuela

Wednesday, 3 February:

3:30pm. Venezuela vs. Mexico

7pm. Homerun Derby

7:50pm. Puerto Rico vs. Cuba

Thursday, 4 February:

3:30pm. Venezuela vs. Cuba

7:50pm. Dominican Republic vs. Puerto Rico

Friday, 5 February:

3:30pm. Mexico vs. Puerto Rico

7:50pm. Cuba vs. Dominican Republic

Semifinals

Saturday, 6 February. Semifinals:

3:30pm. Third Place vs. Second Place

7:50pm. Fourth Place vs. First Place

Sunday, 7 February. Playoffs:

4pm. Winners of First and Second Place

Tickets to the games are for sale at the Quisqueya Stadium box office or at La Sirena mega shopping centers on Av. Winston Churchill, San Isidro, Galeria 360 and Luperon in Santo Domingo, and the El Embrujo and Bartolome Colon branches in Santiago.

The tickets cost:
