At a time when the level of confidence in the Dominican judiciary has reached what seems like a record low, the Judicial Branch Council (CPJ) has announced that a summit meeting is being held on the instructions of the president of the Supreme Court of Justice Mariano German when speaking on Judiciary Day. The meeting will allow the judiciary to hear proposals aimed at improving its own structure and functions. Councilor Samuel Arias Arzeno was appointed to draw up the agenda for discussions and set a date within four months.
