Dominican fashion designer Marisol Henriquez showed her Sources of Elegance collection at the 23rd season of the New York Couture Fashion Week from 12-15 February 2016 at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square.
A former model, she went on to study Fashion Design at Instituto Superior Mercey Jaquez (Santo Domingo), Fashion Illustration at Bellas Artes (Santo Domingo), Visual Fashion Design for Fotografia y Television, in Mexico, as well as courses in Modeling, Makeup and Hairstyling.
In an interview with Bravura Magazine, she described her collection as: “having a very meaningful, almost magical significance for me… that essence which distinguishes every woman… the love for details that allows her to externalize her inner beauty.”
