ANJE says presidential debate set for 18 April

The National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) has announced that the presidential debate will take place on 18 April 2016, as reported in Diario Libre. It will be preceded by warm-up municipal debates in National District and Santiago on 5 April. On 7 April, a debate for the senate for Santo Domingo and Santiago has also been organized. Anje president Osvaldo Oller Bolanos said that letters were sent out to all the candidates on 2 March asking them to confirm their attendance no later than 17 March. The presidential debate will last for two hours. The municipal debates, which will be televised from 8 to 9pm in the National District and from 9 to 10pm in Santiago, will be transmitted by Grupo SIN and Grupo Corripio, but all media are invited to broadcast them. The debates will take place at the Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe) in Santo Domingo.
