The Central Electoral Board (JCE) has re-sent the Political Parties Bill and the Organic Bill of the Electoral System to the Senate. In his introductory message, JCE president Roberto Rosario points out that both initiatives will contribute to the sustainability of the political party system. Rosario said that the bills are the same ones that had already been presented, with additional input collected in several workshops and events, as well as new institutions that are in the 2010 Constitution.
Judge Eddy Olivares voted against the resolution saying it was unnecessary because it was already established in the law.
