President Danilo Medina will now be campaigning five days a week as opposed to two days, says his press office. He wants to cover the whole country to ensure the votes for the May election.
His campaign officers say he will take part in a motorcade procession (caravana) in Santo Domingo West today, Wednesday 9 March 2016, where he will be accompanied by the allied candidates from the Progressive Block. Tomorrow, Thursday he will be in Santo Domingo North, returning to the National District via Santo Domingo East, Monte Plata and La Victoria. On Friday, 11 March he is scheduled to campaign in the National District.
He will be heading north to in Maria Trinidad Sanchez and Puerto Plata on the weekend of 12 and 13 March.
