The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has announced it is offering scholarships for studying medicine in English under the 2016 School of Medicine for International Students program funded by the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF). The full scholarships will last for four years and include airfare from Santo Domingo to Taipei, tuition and a monthly stipend for meals, housing and other expenditures.
The Embassy says that several young Dominicans have benefitted from the scholarships since 2013.
