Starting today, Tuesday, 15 March and continuing through Monday 28 March 2016, the Ministry of Public Health will be carrying out a full range of events aimed at reducing traffic accidents for both residents and holidaymakers. The campaign also includes a school program to promote the culture of hygiene, such as hand washing and care when preparing raw and cooked food.
There will be a series of talks and distribution of educational materials to promote health. A call has also been issued to the public against taking drugs and excessive alcohol consumption, the main causes of traffic accidents around the country.
Easter this year starts on Sunday, 20 March, continuing through Sunday, 27 March.
