Air Century to fly to Port-au-Prince

Air Century has announced it will start flights to Haiti on 28 March 2016.

The company recently complained that red tape imposed by the Haitian aviation authorities had prevented the flight from being approved. At present, the Santo Domingo-Port-au-Prince route is only served by the Haitian airline Sunrise. Air Century says it has invested US$4.5 million in a new fleet of two Saab 340B airplanes, each with a capacity for 34 passengers, for the service. Flights are from Santo Domingo’s La Isabela International Airport to Port-au-Prince International Airport.
