Basketball analysts continue to point out that Dominican-American Karl Anthony Towns, playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is the most likely NBA Rookie of the Year. The former member of the Dominican national basketball team and Kentucky Wildcats leads Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks.
His 39 double-doubles ranks No. 6 in the entire league. So far he is shooting 54.5% from the field overall and has averaged at least 17 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks during his rookie year.
