The Dominican Winter Professional League announced yesterday, Tuesday 29 March 2016 that the 2016-2017 Championship starts on 20 October. The Leones del Escogido and Tigres del Licey announced that games in the city Quisqueya ballpark in Santo Domingo will start at 7:15pm Monday to Friday and at 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The Estrellas announced that games at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in San Pedro de Macoris would be played from Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 4pm. The Gigantes del Cibao announced that games at the Julian Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macoris would be played from Monday to Friday as of 7:30pm, Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 4pm. The Aguilas and Toros del Este said they would keep their previous games schedules from Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 5pm at the Cibao ballpark in Santiago and the Francisco Micheli ballpark in La Romana.
