Casa de Italia has announced the imminent re-opening of the Italian Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Casa de Italia, which represents Italian immigrants in the Dominican Republic, did not specify an opening date. The Italian government recently accepted the credentials of the new Dominican ambassador in Italy, Peggy Cabral.
