President Danilo Medina attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hotel Hampton by Hilton Las Americas yesterday, Tuesday 26 April 2016. The hotel is being built in the Boca Chica area near Las Americas International Airport at a cost of US$7 million. As reported in Diario Libre, the Spanish investment will be operated by Dominican Developments. The hotel, which is due for completion in 2017, is targeted at travelers who use Las Americas International Airport.
