The executive director of the Center for Export and Investment in the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD), Jean A. Rodriguez has highlighted the great opportunities that the European market offers the Dominican Republic. He said that US$688 million was exported to Europe in 2015, according to preliminary figures.
Speaking at a seminar entitled “How to Export to Europe” on Wednesday, 27 April 2016 Rodriguez said that the Dominican Republic was one of the 10 top exporters to Europe with products like cacao, organic bananas, handmade cigars and rum.
