Listin Diario carries a story on the saturation of the PLD ruling party propaganda and all the cartoons that are satirizing it. The newspaper jokes that it has got to the point where Dominicans will no longer be surprised to open a bag of potato chips and find a message inside urging them to vote for candidate X. The cartoons have multiplied after millions of citizens received telephone calls from President Danilo Medina or PLD senator Reynaldo Pared Perez. Listin Diario reports that PRM candidate, Luis Abinader has also made promotional calls. Another cartoon features minority party candidate, Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais making a call, but asking the recipient to call back “because I don’t have minutes.”
