The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has received 89 objections to the elections of 15 May at the congressional and municipal level for a range of issues asking for the elections to be declared null and void, appealing decisions by local electoral courts and demanding recounts. Two days before the elections, TSE president Mariano Rodriguez warned that the court should be prepared for an avalanche of complaints due to the complexity of the electoral process.
