The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reports that a tropical wave located over the central part of the island is moving westwards and will combine with a high-level low-pressure trough to bring more scattered showers. The rains will be moderate, with some thunder and lightning. Most of this activity will be located on the south shore, the central mountains, along the border with Haiti and in the northeastern region. Temperatures and humidity will remain high.
