The Dominican Republic is hosting the International Summit for the Securities Market at the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. The event includes work sessions on Tuesday, 14 June through Wednesday, 15 June 2016. Securities experts from Spain, Peru, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and Costa Rica are taking part. The event, which is organized by the Dominican Republic Securities Superintendence, will focus on success stories and best practices in markets abroad that could be applied in the Dominican Republic.
The visitors include the president of the Securities Market National Commission in Spain, Elvira Rodriguez Herrer, who will be speaking on the elements needed for the growth of capital markets. Peruvian Superintendent of Securities Lilian Rocca and Marelissa Quintero of Panama will also be speaking, among many others.
The summit can be followed online on the Supervaloresrd YouTube channel from Tuesday, 14 June as of 2:30pm and Wednesday, 15 June as of 8am.
