From 4 to 29 July 2016, the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Santo Domingo is holding a creative arts summer camp for children between the ages of 5 and 15. From 8 to 1pm, the children will be taught skills in painting, ceramics, recycling, arts and crafts, theater, photography, drawing, pottery-making, music, modern dance and folk dancing. The Campamento 2016 Verano Creativo includes guided tours to visit other museums. The camp cost is RD$8,000 per child and includes a T-shirt, admission to other museums and all supplies.
