“Un pedazo de muñeca de Lilli Jolie” will be performed at the drama hall of the National Theater in Santo Domingo, the Sala Ravelo from 6-9 April 2017 at 8:30pm. The play is written and directed by Licelotte Nin Mojica and in 2015 who won the Encouragements award of the Paris Centre National du Théâtre (CNT) for her play “Un morceau de poupée de Lilli Joli” in May 2015. The play was originally written in French.
The actors are: Cindy Galán, Johanna González, Indiana Brito, Karina Valdez, Juan Manuel Gautier and Clara Benoit-Casanova.
The play tells the story of three doll factory workers that suspect that a new worker has suffered an accident. The play seeks to motivate empathy for others.
Tickets are RD$600 and for sale at the National Theater box office.
Nin Mojica is a graduate of the Nanterre Paris X University. She teaches drama at the Escuela Nacional de Teatro de Santo Domingo.
