The executive director of the State Sugar Council (CEA), Pedro Cesar Mota Pacheco has sworn in a new group of executives and urged them to work ethically and with transparency.
He said that each one of the directors has the necessary experience and responsibility to implement the transformations the institution needs.
The new executives are Rubén Calcaño, administration director, Ramón Emilio Todd Astwood, technical director, Juan Manuel Stapleton, finance director, and Julio César Peguero, legal director.
The new appoints followed the murder of two broadcast journalists in San Pedro de Macorís was traced to a CEA transaction gone wrong for a disgruntled would-be CEA land buyer.
