The assembly of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC) has been postponed for a second time, now until 10 July 2005, as reported in Diario Libre. The decision was taken by the organizing committee last night. The committee’s president, Joaquin Ricardo, who had been criticized by several candidates, resigned after saying that the decision to postpone the event was painful because everything was ready for Sunday’s voting. He stated he was resigning as president of the organizing committee in order to avoid any doubts that could affect the process.
