The National Weather Service (Onamet) says that a tropical wave moving to the Dominican Republic from Puerto Rico will bring light rain showers on Monday. The forecast for rains will affect from Samana, La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel (Bonao), San Cristóbal, Azua, Barahona, Peravia (Baní), San José de Ocoa and Greater Santo Domingo. Onamet forecasts that the present humidity and hot weather will likewise continue as summer weather makes its way in.
