Consumer Price Index up 1.88% in July, inflation up 2.32% for January-July 2020

The Central Bank reports that inter-annual inflation, measured from July 2019 to July 2020, is now at 4.35%. This is within the target range established in the year’s monetary program of 4.0% ± 1.0%. Increases are attributed to price rises in food, transportation, furniture and household items and housing.
