Two heavy-weight narcos deported to Puerto Rico

Puerto Ricans Vladimir Natera Abreu and Joset Jomar Rivera, both accused of being major drug traffickers, were deported to Puerto Rico on a US military airplane on Monday, 21 December 2020. The two reportedly inherited the drug trafficking network previously operated by arrested drug traffickers Jose David Figueroa Agosto (Junior Capsula) and Angel Ayala Vasquez (Angelo Millones). The two were said to have ties with the network of Dominican drug trafficker Cesar Emilio Peralta (El Abusador). Peralta is awaiting deportation to the United States from Colombia.

Both Natera Abreu and Cesar Emilio Peralta had close ties with the urban artists in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Rivera Verdejo had been arrested in the Dominican Republic in February 2019. Both circulated in the Dominican Republic during the Medina administration.
