Oh, it stings, they twitch and wiggle.... I can't believe its a pleasant experience but, yes - easier than jamming something down a throat against a dog's wishes.
more importantly, it works
Jamming stuff down my dogs throat???? U have got to be kidding me!!!! Chances are they'll take fingers, hand and half of forearm......
I'll go with the oranges any day...... I got some vinigar made out of oranges ( very popular in the campo for washimg meat....). So will give it a test.......

"Salud Publico" made it's annual trip through my neighborhood, & the "Barrio" that sits next to us this week.
They give every dog and cat they can find a rabies shot!
For FREE!!!!!!!!!
The "Street Dogs" get an orange ribbon around their neck to show which ones have been vaccinated.
They injected my 4 dogs, and left the injections for my two cats.
I was sleeping, so I couldn't hold the cats for them like I normally do.
Cats are not fun to inject, even for professionals.
Finally, something "GOOD" done by the DR government!

CC, did you get your shot and a ribbon too ?

yes, because dominicans simply LOVE dogs. i see the evidence of that daily, in the excellent care provided by animal owners. LOL.
Yeah, I just buy them myself too now, and inject them myself.....
Kind old lady in the village who runs agri/vet, she gave me stickers of vaccine to sti k on "dog passport".... I asked her the purpose. She said it is proof in case the dog bites someone...... I answered, dead men tell no tales.......
I noticed the dogs were kind of "wobbly" for a day or 2 after the shot and had less apetite..... which got me a bit worried.....
What age do u vaccinate pups ? 6 months or before?
