Do make it La Cappella.......It is right in Juan Dolio while Santana Beach is several miles on the opposite side of San Pedro and really by itself. San Pedro is about a 15-20 minute drive from Juan Dolio heading east and Santana is east of SP.
La Cappella on the other hand is in the "new" Villas del Mar area of Juan Dolio. Within walking or biking distance of all of Juan Dolio.
It is an excellant hotel. Plaza Real is just up the street (the boulevard) about 1/2 a mile, and just past Plaza Real is Guilia's Cafe where a lot of the Americans who live in Metro Golf and Country club hang out! Talk to Guilia (she's English) and she'll introduce you to some people who will be more than willing to help you out. Ask her to introduce you Dave and Marianne, and also Hersey and Nella. HB's friend Neil also lives at Metro Golf and Country and I'm sure would be willing to give you any info you may need. You can email HillBilly for Neil's number.
Also if you go to Metro Golf to the pro shop and ask to speak to Mike.....hsi wife runs one of the private schools and can tell you a lot.
La Capella is also close to the Villas del Mar International school which is the other private school in the area.
