I'm not sure what this has to do with the casualty death count unless she was killed in a motor vehicle mishap.
Perhaps you could explain.

I'll go with 49 for this year. Still bet Chicago beats over the same time period.

Chicago is up to 66 so far this week with a few hours left to go so I think that part of my guess is coming true. I still think you should allow the same number to be picked by more than one forum member.

LOL. Yeah, right. Then I knew already half of those before only from hearsay...

I mean, great if it was only 15, as less the better. But I do not believe this number.

Most countries will report the actual number in order to try to combat the mayhem and carnage to try to reduce the number of senseless deaths. Not here. Nope. Here they think lying about it makes it better. How this island is as developed as it is, is a complete mystery to me with the retards that run it.

How do we know this is a lie? Who here can prove it different? Utilize all the provincial news sources, and do the math yourselves. I don't see how the numbers will rise. Thankfully, there were no major bus accidents this year, and unfortunately, the government had to close down most of the nation's shoreline. With reduced deaths, they will now believe this is the solution to the problem, and resort to closing the shorelines every year, instead of educating the population and providing adequate security.

Violent crimes, suicides, and the so called crimes of passion are not easy to calculate or predict. Drownings and accidents are a different story. Those two categories can be diagnosed and addressed by location, time, and reason. Taking into account that there were no major bus accidents, trucks were banned from the roads, the shorelines were closed, you can easily see why there would be a reduction in this years' numbers. Maybe the high profile drinking and driving deaths of some ballplayers had an impact on some. We don't and won't know. Let's be happy with the number provided, the lesser amounts of families grieving, and hope for the best in the future, even if it annoys some of the posters here with their annual predictions.

Sounds more like Diaro Libre needs to spend a bit more time on proof reading, rather than a government coverup. In the big scheme of things 15, whether it actually be 13-14, or 16-17 is a lot better than the 30+ they usually average.

False information drives complacency. Please do not tell me that learned behavior drastically changed in one or two years. Higher accurate stats will keep the carnage top of mind and hopefully initiate change.

Not when the mindset is focused on the next 24 hours.

Ok. I won't tell you that learned behavior changed drastically in one or two years. It probably hasn't. Please tell me what the higher, more accurate stats are, and where you gained your information? I, as well as others, want to be as well informed as you. Facts please.
