Bachateros of the world unite!!!

Tonight begins Bachata ompl?.
Its an event that begins today, 8 of sept. and lasts all week until the 12th. It'll take place in the Centro Cultural de Espa?a in the Colonial Zone and the event is a series of Bachata concerts with a series of speakers and discussions that touch several aspects of the Bachata.
Some of the topics are Bachata Pioneers, Musical structure of Bachata, History of the bachata and Evolution of Bachata.

i personally like bachata very much but i dont get to hear it that often at all since i am in the military and i live in texas now. ironicaly when i was in germany and japan and also my tour inkorea i heard more bachata and merengue than here in texas. why could that be?.....
