Juanita, I just took a shopping cart around here and have a bunch of stuff for the girls - ponytail balls, barrettes, costume jewelry, mini rubberbands, hair ties, etc. I'm packing up one last box to ship and they'll be in it. Can you PM me your phone # so I can contact you when I get to SD in December?

Another great afternoon!
Here we have it folks! The 4 brand new bunkbeds and their bedsheets donated by Beyond the Beach Children's Foundation and the other sets of new bedsheets donated by dr1 members, friends and coworkers (mountainannie can you please confirm all the names)....and we have enough money to buy the table..so that will be on the next visit! The girls are all smiles and laugh in their new home. We spent a few hours with them playing games and cards. From the girls....muchas gracias!!!
Having trouble with the pictures again...mmmmm will send them to FireGuy...

On my return I logged in my facebook and had a message from a friend from in Florida who sent $80US today, thanks Claribel I will see that we get something great for the girls with your donation! Also thank you Nancy and Caroline for your donations!!!
At last the table was delivered to the girls! And many other goodies: Christmas tree and bracelets for the older girls from Claribel, Christmas gifts from the employees where I work and a puppy boxer for protection was donated by Diane from Clinica Veterinaria Dr. Pi?eyro. The girls were jumping around from an overdose of happiness! Here are some pictures!

Today we had the pleasure to visit the girls to deliver some special gifts… AlterEgo came by last night to drop some goodies for the girls...LOTS of goodies; colorful little balls and flowers for their hair, tons of color elastics, bracelets, cute butterfly belts, sweets, pens… Thank you so much Grace for your kindness, the girls sends many besitos!
Bianca a friend from work and her family also joined us to meet the girls and donated bags full of detergent, toothpaste, soap..etc. As well, Bianca’s brother checked out some old computers that were given to the girls a while back and was able to save a few, so the girls will soon be connected!
As always, Juanitita had a great time, today it was playing a baseball game with the girl. On my list for our next visit; baseball bats and balls as they were playing with broom sticks, also avocado and carambola tree to plant in their yard. With each visit I just adore them m?s y m?s!

Juanita, thanks so much for posting the photos, I really regret that we couldn't work out going there ourselves - time simply got away from us. We appreciate your bringing the trinkets to the girls, and I'm happy they liked them [I love what they did with the bracelets, never saw that before!]. It was nice meeting you too, you're my first in-person DR1 connection.
