How different? Different how? Chickens eat grass, corn, and bugs, and yes if one makes sure they have calcium they have harder shells on the eggs. My mother always made sure all the egg shellswent back into chicken feed. I bought commercial feed which had as has been discussed sea shells ground up in it.
