Esta es una historia real que aconteci? en el Principado...esas cosas que pasan en los aeropuertos y que con notas recogidas bien podr?a hacerse un libro.
Una joven pareja se enamor? en la India de un "can flipper" (l?ase viralatas) color "kaki" y lo adopt? hace siete a?os.
Decidieron venir de vacaciones al Principado de la isla m?gica,trajeron su mascota y disfrutaron de unas hermosas vacaciones bajo el ardiente sol del mar de los Caribes y el verdor del yucayeque.
Todo marchaba bien, pi?as coladas, cococonron, ceviche de pez le?n, hasta que al t?rmino de las olas de felicidad ,se fueron al aeropuerto a tomar el avi?n que los regresaria a su hogar.
El can, fu? colocado en una de esas modernas jaulas de transporte que les llaman "kennels" y al parecer en un descuido ya separados due?os y can, el cuadr?pedo se las arregl? para abarir la puerta e irse al can,seguir en el can, o evitar el cancaneo del avi?n,,, irse a canear por ahi...o ya estar? lejos en Guaya-canes.
El asunto es que cuando la pareja lleg? a destino el Canis lupus familiaris hab?a tomado las de Villadiego y no lleg? a destino.
Vien vestido, camina con una pechera de tiras de color rojo...que pudiera ya el mismo haberse quitado para continuar de inc?gnito su turisteo por las campi?as del yucayeque....
Posiblemente haya ya fusilado una consorte encontrada en aventura, por lo que posiblemente con la mezcla de ind? con malaparte, este garantizada la descendencia m?ltiple.
Entonces como si de pelicula se tratara, los tristes due?os tomaron otro avi?n de vuelta para dedicarse a la b?squeda de su querido can,? con desilusi?n la b?squeda inicial no tuvo buenos resultados.
Si me avisan temprano, a lo mejor la alarma entre los furtivos ya hubiese encontrado el gozque,, pero quien sabe si el "canturista"
se encuentra por los predios de Pepelimones o de Papito lechosa. o quiz?s andar? por el Village con Kokai, o en Ojos Ind?genas con el ni?o Lucas....
Vamos a buscar a ROMUS, as? le llaman al manso animal, y les paso una foto del desaparecido....esperando que no haya sido v?ctima del sicariato de los come perros, y comeiguanas que desandan la zona.
Ah !...y como de b?squedas somos expertos....el que lo encuentre le cambio el AON perdido por un AON de colecci?n.

This dog may now be someones Pet already.. especially if he was a rescued dog before... He will bond very quickly with someone who feeds him and treats him nicely.. I took a Dobie off the streets once, and gave him his first Good meal in a while
.. We bonded instantly . the next day you would think we were best buds for years.. Eventually I had to place him with another owner, cuz I already had a dog, which he also got along with nicely, like he knew he was the guest ,. but it was just one too many for me.
just a thought. that he may already be in what he considers his new home... So they may be looking for a dog that does not really care to be found... I nice looking dog like that, I highly doubt he is hiding in the bushes around the airport..

What a joke ( Urban Myth) Story.

1. Dog does not exist.
2. Someone is trying to create "buzz" around a fake story, who knows why?
3. Bleeding hearts ( dog lovers, like many of us) keep the BS story alive by repeating rumors regarding the MYTHICAL ROMUS.

Talk about a dog with a bone... you've got at least 2 long-time posters vouching for this story and still you can't believe it.

I understand that everybody, regardless of the shallow or insular nature of their lives needs a cause. I think you can do better than tropical, middle income street dogs.

If Romus didn't manage to escape the airport perimeter fencing by now (as I'd originally read he did) then sadly I fear he?d be considered an aircraft safety risk and would be duely got rid of :-(
