Pictures larger than 800x600 are really hard to view. 640x480 is message board size but please nothing larger than 800x600. Hard to appreciate the beauty of a photo when you need to scroll left, right, up, and down.

I have a Canon SX10 IS, a good camera but point and shoot. I have thought about getting a DSLR, but the reasons why I should are not yet sufficient to overwhelm the reasons why I shouldn't.

But the camera is only part of it. I spend a lot of time with a photo after it comes from the camera. No camera produces photos that don't need processing if they are going to look their best.

Well, you surely know about composition, too, as your photos are very nicely done. I'm impressed with the end result. I'm sure my friend Mr. Chiri would agree.

I've thought about getting a DSLR as well, but don't know much about the basics, such as aperture, f-stops, and/or photoshop and RAW.
