I ordered a new inverter and batteries today, Martin Inversores SRL from Santiago will have it installed this coming Monday.
We have multiple short power outage yesterday.

Power was off for 4 hours in Los Cerros yesterday. Inverters held up. Fans and refrigerator, TV and internet all worked

Your requirements, are far less demanding than ours. That realization would go a long way in understanding why I have zero respect for Edenorte's management.

I was cusious what you would use for wind power options

The inverter is a Mitech manufactured by the same company, it's 1.5 KW with two batteries.
This is the only company I trust and recommend as I have one installed in my house in Santiago since 2005 and still in service.

No sure about batteries Brand.

I have a Mitech as well with 4 Black Trojan batteries...hooked up to 1kw of solar panels.

As promised Technicians came today and professionally installed unit in about three hours.
Batteries Brand US 1800 xc.

Deep cycle, made in the US.

My system shows out since 11:50 last night. Still out. Think we are on same circuit, but have had issues in our smaller area for over a week. Have no idea why. Generator charged batts early and solar has kicked in.

Sabaneta has had no power since early this morning!

Came on at 2:30 P.M.
That's 15.25 hours it was off in our area.
Happy that all our systems worked and kept the lights on.

Looking at my inverter log and updating starting 8/20 afternoon.
Power on at 2:30 P.M.
Off at 5:40 P.M.
On at 6:01 P.M.
Off at 9:43 P.M.
On at 11:31 P.M.
Off at 12:55 A.M.

Still off at 5:27 A.M.

It was our turn here (Sabaneta) yesterday - we were off all afternoon (Thursday)! Been all okay today so far.
