Flying dog(s) out

WW, it could be a emotional support dog. I have a few friends who have their dogs on the plane like this, they don't have to be in the little carrier and can be right on your lap or on the seat next to you type thing if bigger. It's actually not too hard to do either, Dr note of a certain medical condition etc and a few more steps. I am assuming if it is a big dog they would have to pay for the extra seat?

I wondered about that, i.e. emotional support dogs. On US routes I believe that is an option but international?? If you tried to fly from DR to US will the DR side allow this??
