well, you need to have a car, thou.

i feel that for some desperate times call for desperate measures. it is very sad thou. we all hope that we'd have someone to turn to when we fall on hard times...

Yes, but unfortunately that is not the case. You can help someone until that person can get
back on their feet but when the person cannot it becomes a burden and then the person MUST
come to the realization that handouts cannot be given continuously and must make their own decisions on what to do about it.

But there are some people who are very stubborn and knowing the answer(what they must do)
will not do it. So you just have to let them be until they learn on their own. If they ever do.

I am speaking from experience on having dealt with some people in similar circumstances.

I questioned that in another thread. Why live in a country that's not their own, having financial
difficulties and living in poverty. And this is the sad result for some.

Most of the time it's because of bad choices.

I agree but in case of a German he has an exit route.. go back to Germany.. A Dominican does not have that choice as he cannot leave the country..
