It used to be brewed here in the nineties, in la vega.
Remember going to some big promotion for it in a bar on el conde.
Met the brit that was in charge of the project here.
Printed on the label was "7%" or was it "7.5%”.
Used to drink quite a lot of it in santo domingo when we could find it.
Can't remember if it was before or after cervezas 'dry' or 'soberana'.
Of course, with any guinness, it was an acquired taste.
Different from any other guinness i ever had.........including guinness from haiti.
Unless they have closed up since the earthquake, you can probably still buy it in haiti.
Comes in stubby little bottles........i ask people to bring some back for me, but they keep returning with prestige lager instead.
Guessing it has become more difficult to find.
