For starters,I entered this recipe in a holiday contest at work and won first prize in
the appetizer category.I t doesn't matter how many ingredients are in a recipe,it's
the taste that counts.
MEATBALLS IN CRANBERRY WINE SAUCE
one package of frozen meatballs(any size) or you can make your own.Cook them
first.
one (16 oz) can wholeberry cranberry sauce
one cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
one cup dry red wine(I use pinot noir) but any red wine will do
2 teaspoons hot chinese mustard (or any hot mustard)
In a medium-size causepan over medium heat,add cranberry sauce,brown sugar
red wine and hot mustard;stir to combine.Let simmer for 5 minutes,stirring often.
Add frozen meatballs and continue to cook until heated through.
