how much would a tv cost in SD?

My wife wants to bring a TV to her mother in SD, I DO NOT want to lug some huge box, all over the world. How much for say a 25" give or take, in the city? And where is a good place to purchase a tv in SD?

Ballpark is US$ 500. There are models cheaper (chinese brands) , and more expensive brands (flatscreen Sony, etc).

Wow! Don't want to pay that much. What about a 19"? I can prob get a cheap one here for $150-175, then what another $100 for the duty?

Just do this. By yourself a flat screen TV here in The states. (15 trough 19 inches for instance)...put it in your carry on and take it with you next time you go. You may have to pay a small bribe (20 USD will do). I did it with a 15 inches TV. Total cost about 250 USD and it can also serve as a computer monitor.

can a 19" flat lcd fit in a carry-on?

and you were able to pass your 15" tv b/c you argue with customs that this was for your monitor and they were saying that it was too big. Were they
still arguing after you handed $20 dollar bill?

also,
monitors nowadays for pc's are 17" & 19" so why wouldn't they buy the story
that the tv is for pc?
