I was in Las Terrenas last week and dropped into La Bodega for a drink. What king of joint is it? Seemed like a real mix of people there and could not figure out whether the single ladies there were working or just locals hanging out. Please advise.

I believe that most single ladies looked like they were working (why would you go to a spot, just standing there if you can't even afford a drink ???). Otherwise, they would go out with a bunch of Dominican friends or go to a Dominican spot where the drinks are half of what they charge at La Bodega.
Even guys, there, are looking for gringas.
