Okay there seems to be some questions concerning this pill so I’ve decided to enter this thread.
I, as my years have increased, find it a little difficult to perform as I did let’s say 20 years ago. I married a Dominican 22 years my junior and knowing the importance of sex in the earlier years I was faced with a bit of a problem of repetition or the instant arousal if the mood hit her. Having high blood pressure and taking medication for such plays into this also.
Having heard about LaPela I researched it for a number of days and found that it in fact can be used if you have HBP. I therefore decided to try this pill to see the effect it would have. The first time I used it I took a whole pill and the side effects almost did me in. A hot burning sensation in my body which lasted 3 days but the pills intended effect lasted 5 days. This pill does not automatically put lead in your pencil as you can take it and sit there and watch TV, as an example, with no effect. If on the other hand you are aroused sexually for any reason then the pill takes effect and puts lead in the pencil which stays there for an extended time. When you roll off and lay there with that gigantic smile and exuberating feeling it only requires a look or a touch for that lead to reappear and go back for more. This seems to continue till exhaustion or sleep sets in. Upon waking up if the thought or desire enters your mind you are ready again. These effects seem to last for 3 to 5 days but as I said if you have no desire or are not invoked in any way sexually there is no effect.
Because of my bad reactions from a whole pill I only use half a pill with all the same performance in durability and time frame without the flushing feeling.
I can only report on how this works on my wife and no other woman as I haven’t acquired that custom of drilling multiple holes in search of oil when I have a refinery in my own house. Guess I’ll never be a Dominican.

From what I seem to understand, LA PELA is generic CIALIS (sidenafil citrate), the stuff that came after VIAGRA and is said to be effective up to 72hrs. Same system as viagra, btw.

That's interesting, but if what they are selling is the "real deal", they are breaking the law, and with some pretty serious penalties I believe. I suspect the stuff being sold in Washington Hts. is some herbal concoction knockoff using the la pela name.
First of all its tadalafil (cialis) not sildenafil (viagra). The pill is being sold in colmados and bodegas illegally in NY. I personally have seen bodegas owners come to santiago and buy these pills by the boxes to take back with them to new york. They sell these pills to their regular customers from under the table. I believe the cost is $ 10 / pill.

Bodegas all over the place sell La Pela, Ampicilina 500, and a bunch of other commonly used medications from DR, although it is illegal. Just last September, local police in a NJ town raided about 20 bodegas and arrested owners/workers for selling these medications illegally, after they had undercover officers make buys at the bodegas.
Supposedly, the police were tipped off by local doctors who were concerned about the well being of people using these medications without proper medical supervision. I have a feeling that as soon as some doctors in Washington Heights start feeling that they're losing patients to the bodegas, they will get the same concern and go to the police for some intervention.

$10 for la pela!!!!!!! don't they get it in the DR for like 50 pesos!!!!
Yup, thats why its worth all the risk. These guys even get it for cheaper because they buy it directly from Visitadores medicos. they sell them for like 30 - 35 pesos / pill. These pills are medical samples but the people sell them anyway.
